BUTTERFLY PARASITE
< P A > DtJNEDIN, Thursday Two Dunedin schoolboys, Stephen and Terence Johnson, both keen entomologists, have discovered that the parasite introduced to combat the white .butterfly is waging a war of extermination" on the red admiral butterfly. A local authority reports that their investigations provide C0B« elusive proof. The parasites liberated by the Caw* thron Institute have exercised some degree of control over the white butter fly pest. They attack the grub of the butterfly in "the chrysalis, in which they lay their eggs. The parasite grub? then feed on the butterfly grub. The red admiral is a beautifully - marked butterfly.
