INTERNAL MARKETING
BUILDING NOW OCCUPIED LARGE STORAGE SPACE Constructed at a cost of over £IOO.OOO, the new storage and administrative of the Internal Marketing Division, at the corner of Fanshawe and Nelson Streets, is now fully occupied and, with the exception of a portion of the honey section, is out of the hands of the contractors, the Fletcher Construction Company, Limited. The outside of the building is finished on very modern lines, the long Nelson Street'frontage having the words "Internal Marketing" set in bold block letters. There is a very imposing facade at the entrance on the corner. On either side of the main entrance parrow windows run tip the entire height of the building. A floor space of approximately 70,000 square* feet is provided. The top floor is devoted to office and administrative quarters. A space of about 6000 square feet is devoted to offices for managers of the various divisions of the department. The general office occupies about 2000 square feet. A feature of the building is the fact that it has cart-docks on four of the five floors. This is made possible by the fact that it is constructed on the steep gradient at the foot of Nelson Street.
