ACCIDENTAL DROWNING
A verdict of accidental drowning was returned when an inquest into the death of Petty-Officer William Reid Stewart, aged 26, of Devonport, whose body was found in the harbour near Birkenhead on March 6, was held by Mr. J. H. Luxford, S.M., coroner, yesterday. Deceased was last seen on the night of March 5 walking toward the Devonport ferry wharf. H e had spent the evening at the Devonport Workingmen's Club and was sober.
