THE PRIME MINISTER
TOUR OF THE NORTH (0.C.) WHANGAREI, Wtdnesdsy Flying north to-morrow, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. P. Fraser, will arrive at Waipapakauri before iunch to commence a brief tour of North Auckland. His visit will be mainly concerned with defence, but h© will speak on the war situation at a public meeting at Kaitaia to-morrow night. The Prime Minister will be in the Bav of Islands on Friday and will visit Dargaville on Saturday. He is expected to spend Saturday night at Whangarei before returning south on Sunday. It is unlikely that he will speak in public except at Kaitaia. Mr. Fraser will be accompanied by the Minister of Marketing, the Hon. J. G. Barclay, the representative of the Maori race on the Executive Council I the Hon. P. K. Paikea, and Mr. S .W. j Boswell, M.P.
