MILITARY WEDDING
TAYLOR—JOHNSTON The wedding took place at St. Mark's Church, Remuera, on Monday morning of Miss Betty Whittaker. Johnston, younger daughter of Mrs. Johnston, 48 Ranui Road Remuera , formerly of St. Stephen's Avenue, and the late Mr. H. J W. The bridegroom was Lieutenant Harold John Taylor, third son of the Rev_ T. M. Taylor and Mrs. Taylor, or Parramatta, New South Wales. Archdeacon P. Houghton officiated. A charming bouffant frock of Swiss muslin embroidered in blue was worn bv the bride, who was given awa, y 5 hL -M1.,-Mr. W. E. Re.™.. H«r white veiled turban was clustered with blue French flowers, and she carried a Victorian posy with her Ppyer book. The bridegroom was attended b, Pilot-Officer G. L. Wallace Following the ceremony Mrs. Johnston entertained relatives at her home in Ranui Road.
