MOUNT ALBERT COUNCIL
In spite of the fact that no constructional work could be undertaken without the permission of the Building Controller, the Mayor of Mount Albert, Mr. H. A. Anderson, stated at a meeting of the borough council last night that the number of building permits issued was quite satisfactory. It was reported that the amount or rates collected up to the end ot the last financial vear was £83.524, compared with £79,696 in the previous year.
