UNSUCCESSFUL APPEAL
(P.A.) CHEISTCHURCH. Wednesday The Christchurch Manpower Committee to-day announced its decision in the rehearing of the appeal by Davis Gelatine (New Zealand), Limited, for Malcolm Chris Davis, technical manager. The appeal was dismissed on condition that the reservist was not to be called upon before June 30, the company being instructed to make adequate arrangements for the release of Davis by that date by training other personnel. ■-•;-_?? *' " "-
