CIVIL TRIALS LIKELY
"AUSTRALIA FIRST" GROUP MELBOURNE, April 1 At least some of the 20 persons allegedly associated with the Australia First Movement will probably be tried in a civil Court. 11l deciding what wiil be done with the 19 men and one woman mentioned in the House of Kepresentatives last .week, the Government wiil consider each case on its merits. A blanket decision is unlikely. The Australian Minister for War, Mr. Forde, made startling revelations at Canberra on March when announcing the 20 arrests. Evidence secured,. he said, included documents which suggested, among other things, plans for sabotage and murder.
