RUGBY IN ENGLAND
AIR FORCE TEAM BEATEN LONDON. Mar. 22 In a Rushy football match between the Welsh Guards and the Royal New Zealand Air Force the Welshmen were victorious by nine points to six. The New Zealanders arrived without knickers and the start of the game was delayed foi an hour while the Guards sent to their headquarters for " spares." The hard and accurate tackling of the visitors checked the Guards time and again and the Welshmen were given one of their hardest matches this season. E. Grant, captain of the New Zealanders, was the outstanding player on the field.
