INQUEST ON SOLDIER
(0.C.) _ PALMERSTON NORTH, Friday An inquest was held in Palmerston North beforo the coroner, Mr. A. J. Graham, concerning the death oil February 26 in a military camp of Crenston Snngster Dick, soldier, single, aged 26, whose parents' live in Tailiape. Private C. D. Crane stated Dick was on guard, and witness heard a report and saw Dick lying on the ground injured in the head.
Constable Paget said Dick was a moody type and would not mix with others.
The verdict was that Dick died from a bullet wound, self-inflicted.
