EXPEDITIONARY FORCE TWO MEN DROWNED 152 PRISONERS OF WAR [BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION'] WELLINGTON, Thursday Two members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force are reported to have been drowned in a casualty list issued to-night. Leonard Gray (Cpl.), Doyleston. MISSING ON OPERATIONS HAMILTON PILOT-OFFICER (0.C.) HAMILTON. Thursday Cabled advice has been received by Mr. and Mrs. Neil Reid, of Ngahinapouri, that their younger son, PilotOfficer Stewart Reid. is missing on air operations. Pilot-Officer Reid was trained at Levin and New Plymouth in 1940, and proceeded to Canada, where lie was granted a commission in the New Zealand Royal Air Force. He arrived in England in September last ■ and was posted to the 75th Bomber Squardon.' Pilot-Officer Reid, who is aged 24, was educated at the Ngahinapouri school and the Hamilton Technical High School. He was later farming at Ngahinapouri. He was a keen athlete and golfer.
