FALL UNDER TRAMCAR
WOMAN SERIOUSLY HURT A possible fracture of ribs and severe shock were suffered by Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Smith, aged 60, of 8 Mamie Street, Newmarket, when she fell from a safety zone underneath a tramcar in Newmarket late last night. Difficulty was experienced in extricating Mrs. Smith, and jacks had to be used to raise the car. The injured woman was taken to the Auckland Hospital, and her condition is serious.
