CHURCHILL CLAN
40 FAMILIES IN AMERICA NEW YOBK, Jan. 20 When Mr. Winston Churchill, Britain's Prime Minister, received a draft for £IOO from New York the other day with the direction that he should dispose of the money as he saw fit, the covering letter revealed to him for the first time that there- were many Churchills in the United States claiming kinship with him. The letter "was signed by the heads of 40 families of Churchills. After explaining the enclosure, the letter concluded: "The dream of the brotherhood of man and an abiding city of righteousness grow directly from the high traditions of loyalty to the family, which is the chief strength of our English race."
