NORTH SHORE BUSES
A deputation of residents ot north Devouport waited on the Devonport Borough Council last evening to protest against the curtailment of bus trips on the deviation via Ngataringa Road and Princes Street. Mr. B. A. Smith said this route had been established some time ago to serve the large number ot in that area. Without sufficient notice, and apparently without the requisite authority, the service had been restricted to two morning and evening buses, and had cut out all trips during the day and all Saturday trips. He asked the council to present their request for the reinstatement of the buses. The council decided that, as petrol was to be restored to transport companies, the full reinstatement ol the service bo supported.
