(0.C.). MORRINSVILLE, Tuesday Tlje final figures in the Hauraki byelection, rendered necessary by tho death in action of Lieutenant-Colonel J. M. Allen, are as follows: Mr. A. S. Sutherland (National), 3805; Mr. H. T. fJead (Independent), 1082, Of the absentee votes, Mr. Head roceivod 13 and Mr. Sutherland 70, while the votes recorded by members of the forces were 24 and 95 respectively.
