OBITUARY
MRS. E. G. BABE (0.c.) WHANGAREI, Tuesday The death has occurred at Whangarei of Mrs. Elizabeth Greig Babe, aged 73, the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Stephen, who came to New Zealand in 1830. Her husband, Mr. Samuel Babe, broke in virgin bush country between Tauraroa and Waiotira and again at Maungakaramea. Eleven years ago they retired to Whangarei.. Mrs. Babe is survived by her husband, two daughters and one son. MRS. ESTHER WRIGHT (0.C.) MORRINSVILLE. Tuesday The death has occurred of Mrs. Esther Wright, aged 85. Mrs. Wright came to Morrinsville with her husband to take up farming. Later they went to Motumaoho, Morrinsville district, where Mr. Knight died in 1924. Mrs. Wright is survived by three sons and two daughters. 6
