THE ROTARY CLUB
A,tribute to the late Mr. T. McNab, of Mount Eden, was paid by members of the Auckland Rotary Club at their luncheon yesterday. He bad been a member of the club since 1930, and the president, Mr. A. G. Poison, referred to his many public-services. Two members, Mr. G. M. Smith and Mr. A. Paterson, were cordially welcomed back after an absence. Visitors entertained bv the club, included Messrs. H. S. Williams, of Enfield, England. and W. F. Martin, G. Sander and R. Maddock, of Wellington, all Rotarians, and Mr. F. W. Doidge, M.P., of Tauranga. The speaker was Mr. A. Ki North, who outlined the advances that have been made in the past 100 years in the treatment of law-breakers.
