OPERATIONS TO CEASE DEEPEST IN NEW ZEALAND (0.c.) '' NEW PLYMOUTH, Sunday Rumours having been circulated in the Stratford district that the New Zealand Petroleum Company's Midhirst bore was to he abandoned, and operations in that 'ocality suspended, the matter was referred to the general * manager of the company, Mr J.
