NEW BANKING HOURS
New working hours will be observed by all banks from, to-day. They will open from Monday to Friday, both days inclusive, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and on Saturday from 9.30 to 11 a.m. This change was made under the Banking Emergency Regulations, 1942. The head office and branches of the Auckland Savings Bank will not be open for business on Friday evenings until further notice.
