LONDON, Dec. 20 A side of bacon was cut up by an expert at the clerk's table at Romford police court to prove that some back rashers sold at a shop contained more streakv bacon—a cheaper cut—than they should have done. Laura Streame, Upminster, manageress of the shop, was fined £5 for selling a cut of bacon other than a cut specified under the Bacon Order. The customer said she paid 2s Id a lb. for the bacon.
