MR. HOUPAPA TE URU (0.C.) TAUMARUNUI. Tuesday The death occurred, at his residence, Taringamotu Valley, of Mr. Houpapa Te Uru. one of the most prominent natives in the Taumarunui district, xi was born at Kawliia 90 years ago came to Taumarunui in 1902, s at Taringamotu on land held by J" relations. Mr. Houpapa Te TJru well known throughout the district one of the most successful native farmers. He was a prominent the Maniapoto tribe. He leaves a win and sis sons. ' •
