WOMEN FOR AIR FORCE

CANDIDATES IN NORTH (0.C.) WHANGAIiEI, Friday Sixty candidates for service with the Women's Auxiliary Air Force were interviewed by the selection board at Whangarei, this week. The. girls selected will be drafted to the two Auckland stations, Hobsonville and Whenuapai, about 400 being required. Half of this number will come from Auckland and the remainder from Hamilton and Northland. It will be some months before they are called for duty.
