USED ANOTHER'S NAME
RESERVIST SENT TO GAOL (0.C.) HAMILTON, Friday A plea of guilty was entered by James Whitehead, aged 30, farm hand, before Mr. W. H. Freeman, S.M., at Hamilton to-day, to a charge of falsely assuming another man's name, and stating th/it he was enrolled in the general reserve. Evidence was given that accused 1 found another man's certificate and represented that it was his property. 1 Actually he had failed to enrol. ] Accused said he had been nervous i and highly strung since childhood. < He was sentenced to one month's im- ] prisonment. For failing to enrol, accused was convicted and discharged.
