LATE MILK DELIVERIES

Reports of a number of roundsmen having been found delivering milk after the fixed finishing time of 7.30 a.m. were received by the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council at its meeting yesterday. The deputy-chairman, Mr. A. S. Bailey, who presided, said the council's officers had been authorised to prosecute where this regulation wns not complied with. The secretary, Mr. N. R. Chapman, reported that all vendors and the Milk Roundsmen's Union had been notified that the finishing time of 7.30 a.m. would be enforced.
