BEGINNING THE DAY
(Supplied by the Council of Christian Congregations) Text. —Bo still, ami know that I am God. Psalms, 46, 10. Thought.—Knowledge of God brings confidence and calmness of soul. Victory is assured to His saints. Let us trust Him at all times. Prayer.—Oh! Thou great and eternal one, speak peace to my innermost being. Let me realise the greatness of Thy power, and in my moments of weakness help me to lean hard upon Thee. Bid me be still while I commune with Thee and feed me with the bread of life. Amen.
