Amateur Championship.—Matches in the Auckland amateur snooker championship at Messrs. Billiards, Limited's showrooms mst evening resulted as follows: —W. Heath beat M 13. White, 28 —46, Drnniss beat • B. Dufty, <ft&~23, 32—40. 54 —35. Games for to-night are:—7.ls, J. McGregor v. J. Neale; 5.15, T. Eroggatt W. Whyle. Horace Lindrum'® Visit.—Horace Lindrnm, world champion snooker player, gave exhibitions last evening at- the Good Shepherd Social Hall. This morning he will play at the Veterans' Home and in the evening he will visit Papakura Camp. Great Northern Tourney.—Matches in thin handicap event were continued last evening at Barton and McGili's hall, the results being: G. Katcliffe beat A. Cordell by 225 pomts to 184, B. Eae heat McConachy, Jan., by 242 points to 221T Games for this evening are: J. de Liica (70) v. L. Kivcll (63), 7 o'clock; E. V. Roberts (21) v. C. Spencer (21), 8 o'clock.
