OPENING POSTPONED ARRANGEMENTS FOR TO-DAY Inclement weather on Saturday actuated the Auckland Cricket Association to postpone its opening for the season until to-day, when a series of one-day matches in the senior championship will be decided. Contests to have been played on Saturday will now be played next week-end. Hours of play in to-day's fixtures are as follows:—10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.; 1.30 p.m. to 3.45 p.m.; 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Following is the draw: First Grade.—Eden v. University, Eden Park No. 3, Messrs. Batting for Old Boys against East Christehurch, W. A. Hadlee and F. B. Smith scored 230 in 100 minutes in an unbeaten stand for the second wicket, Smith making 111 not out and Hadlee 10*2 not out. I B. Cromb made 129 in 01 minutes for Lancaster Park, and Hunt 101 not out in two hours for Air Force. Cromb hit 14 fours and three sixes. Smith eight fours and three sixes, Hadlee 10 fours, and Hunt 10 fours and three sixes. Scores:—Old Boys, 230 for one (Hadlee 102 not out. Smith 114 not out) beat East C'hristchurch, 201 for five, declared f.Tames S4. Kinvig 53; Eseott three for 44) on the first innings. St. Albans, 157 for two (Cununings 44' not out. Dalley 41, McCann 33) beat West Christehurch, 1-16 for nine, declared (Uttley 41, Nee 33; Mulcock five for 53, Tucker four for 62) on the first innings. Air Force, 190 for eight, declared (Hunt 101 not out; Wise three for 29) drew with Sydenham, 154 for six (Little 42 not out, F. Kerr 35, Oliver 34). Riccarton, 197 for nine (Roberts 41, Way 31; W. E.
