OPENING TO-MORROW TRIAL OF ONE-DAY GAMES TWO MATCHES AT EDEN PARK The Auckland cricket season will be officially opened to-morrow with the first, series of games to be played under tho recentlyadopted one-day principle. A number of teams composed mainly of married men have undergone little change' since last season, but in others almost new sides will be fielded. Until the elevens havo played two or three games their relative strengths will be unknown. Two senior matches will bo played at Eden Park, Eden and Papakura Camp meeting on No. .'J ground and University and Y.M.C.A. being matched on No. 4. croupd. Training College will play Parnell at Papatoetoe, and Middlemoro will try conclusions with Pon-sonby-Balmoral at Victoria Park. North Shore will meet Grafton at Devonport.
