CITY CARRIER'S LICENCE
Stating that it was doubtful whether the evidence submitted wnrra/ited a variation in tho previous judgment, the No. 1 Licensing Authority, Mr. E. .1. Phelan, yesterday reserved lu's decision in the rehearing of an application for an additional vehicle licence made by a city carrier. The applicant was James Chevi.s. of 59 Fort Street, City, whose application was declined at a previous sitting of the authority. On an appeal being lodged with the .Minister of Transport, the Hon. H. Semple, the f, ;iso was referred hack for a further hearing. Tho application was opposed by the Auckland Owne -Driver Carriers' Association.
