GIFT AFTERNOON

The Ponsonhy branch of the Patriotic Committee women's activities section held a successful soldiers' gift afternoon in the St. John s ( hureh Hall. Ponsonhy Road, yesterday. Members ot the League ot Mothers and the St. John's Mothers' Club were hostesses. Songs were sung by Mrs. McLennan, Mrs. 0. F. De Berg and Mrs. Harris, recitations were given bv Miss Kid red V.'elN, and pianoforte solos by -Miss J. Millar. The accompanist was Mrs. A. C. Pawson.
