CRIMINAL TRIALS
The quarterly criminal sessions which opened in Auckland on October 14 ended yesterday. In five cases the accused wore found guilty, and in three the accused were acquitted, in one case after a second trial and in another after a third trial. The remaining two cases were disposed of by the accused entering picas of guilty.
