FAT STOCK SALES

PRICES AT WESTFIELD

SHEEP AND LAMBS CHEAPER PIGS ALSO AFFECTED As a result of large yardings of pigs, sheep and lambs at tile Westfield fat stock market yesterday, values in theso sections declined appreciably. For the eighth successive week, extra choice ox beef remained at £2 Is per 1001b. The best steer of the sale was sold for £l6 2s 6d. Cows and heifers were quoted as high as £l2 10s, compared with the season's record price of £l4 7s 6tl last week.

In the pig section, porkers, stores, choppers, woaners and slips were all cheaper.
