ROBBERY CHARGE FAILS
The third trial of Thomas Leslie Dalev, soldier, aged 20 (Mr. Noble), and Finest Sidney Porter, aged 20 (Mr. Hubble), on a joint charge of robbery with violence on the night of May 28. was concluded before Mr. Justice Fair yesterday. The Crown Prosecutor. Mr. V. R. Meredith, said it Avas alleged that the accused assaulted Charles Keith Brown in a dark lane and robbed him of a wallet containing £3O. The defence was one ol mistaken identity. . . , , , After a retirement or almost four hours the jury returned a verdict of not guilty and the accused were acquitted. ______
