(0.C.) WHANG AI!EJ, Wednesday A bnshman, Arthur David Ogle, aged 20, pleaded guilty before justices of the peace at Kaeo to a charge of committing perjury. Constable L. Buckley said Ogle was charged in August with being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle, and it was during the hearing of that charge that he made a statement which he now admitted to be false. He said he had met a certain Maori in Kaeo at a time when the Maori was in Mangamuka. Ogle was committed for sentence.
