AIR FORCE LOSSES YOUNG AUCKLANDER KILLED [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION"] WELLIXGTOX, Wednesday The following Air Force casualty is announced: — Webb, Charles Cecil George (Flying-Ofticcr), R.A.F., reported missing, believed killed on air operations—Mrs. Webb, Majdstone (wife).

Advice was received yesterday by Mr. H. H. McCullough, of 31 Mountain Road, Epsom, that his only son, Ser-geant-Pilot C. F. McCullough, aged 21, was killed on an operational flight from England on Monday. Educated at the Auckland Grammar School. Sergeant-Pilot McCullough afterward went tanning in the Te Ivuiti district, where he played in senior Rugby football. lie subsequently studied at the Masscy Agricultural College. Palmerston North, and gained his diploma in agriculture. On several occasions while a student at the college lie distinguished himself in athletics, Sorgeant-Pilot. McCullough enlisted in November, 1039, but was not called up for the Air Force until October. 19J0 After training in various parts of New Zealand, he left for England in April.
