mount albert grammar Permission to purchase medical equipment and supplies for a cupboard to be maintained in connection with the Emergencv Precautions Scheme, and also for the school grounds to he used as a centre for the outdoor domestic services of the block containing the school, was granted to the Mount Albert Grammar School, following a letter received from the headmaster, Mr. F. W. Gamble, at yesterday's meeting of the board of governors. Mr, Gamble said many of the boys at the school had qualified in branches of the organisation and they were very keen. The cost of the equipment mentioned would be only about £l4, which not very much for such a widespread scheme. lie had been ®l>proached several times in connection w ith the use of the grounds as a centre for t!ie block. The hoard decided that, as the material would he used primarily lor administering aid to the pupils of the school, the requests should be granted.
