BEGINNING THE DAY

(Supplied by the Council of Christian Congregations)

Text.—Saying: Amen. Rev. vii., 12

Prayer.—Lord, Thou hast spoken to mankind. We would appropriate to ourselves that which Thou has said: "So mote it be." There are many tilings that we dread or do not understand, but we are enclosed in Thee. When tried and perplexed with the troubles and problems of life we would turn to Thee and say: "Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Thy sight." Amen, so let it be —Life from the dead is in Thy word—'tis immortality. Amen.
