DEPUTY BLOCK WARDENS
Sir, —In his reply to a query re the above, Mr. K. L. Usmar is not correct —although lie may think he is—when lie says (inter alia), "That procedure is followed throughout the whole area."
There are six deputy-block wardens at Papatoetoe who are not issued with any authority—armband or warrant — whatsover. But these men are expected to do their duty when called upon. One Of Th km .
