SOLDIERS' VOTES
OFFICIAL TO LEAVE A possible indication of the trend of Government thought on the holding of an election is the fact that Mr. A. G. Harper, a senior officer of the Interna! Affairs Department, has arrived in Auckland. Arrangements have been made for him to leave at an early date on his way to the Middle East. It is learned that his mission is to undertake the recording of soldiers' electoral votes.
