CHAPLAIN APPOINTED
MAORI BATTALION (0.C.) WHAKATANE, Wednesday Advice has been received by the Her. Wharetini Rangi, of Ruatoki. that he has been appointed a chaplain of the Maori Battalion. He is to enter camp in about a month and will serve in New Zealand until it is decided to send another padre overseas.
