PENROSE RIFLE RANGE
Sir. —The rifle range at Penrose is in worse condition than it was 40 years ago. So high is the gorse in places that it is difficult for the target to be sighted. There is.no shelter, and after rain wood planks are required to approach the firing mounds. This is a most unsatisfactory state of affairs when one considers the millions spent* in recent years on unimportant projects. .303.
