SEAMEN LEAVE SHIP

MARINE STRIKE FEARED UNITED STATES VESSELS (Reed. 8.10 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. Three hundred seamen, members of the American Federation of Labour and the Seafarers' International Union, walked off four vessels in Now York. It is feared that 20,000 others on the Atlantic coast may leave their ships in sympathy. The union is asking for an increase in the present war bonus of 60 dollars. It is believed it wants 250 dollars a man on ships bound for any Axis or Allied ports.
