DOMINION FORESTRY UNIT (0.C.) LONDON, August 19 New Zealanders gave tlie people of Sussex a fine display of timber chopping during a Service sports meeting on the Arundel Castle cricket ground. It was held by permission of the Duke of Norfolk, and the proceeds were devoted to the Duchess' War Emergency Fund. Sapper Kilmartin won the Tim. standing chop in 2Ss, with Sapper Ritchie second and Lieutenant Chandler third. The underhand chop was also- won by Sapper Kilmartin in 365, Lieu tenants Chandler second. A local man. who has beeft, tree-felling with the .New Zenlanners showed good style, but he was unible to rival the performances of the men from the Dominion.
