The board of the Auckland branch of the British Sailors' Society appointed the following officers for the com ins year at its last meeting:—President, Mr. T. Clark: vice-presidents, the Revs. A. 31. Aspland, B. M. Chrystall, G. Heighway; lion secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. B. Burnett; hon. chaplain, the Rev. A. M. Aspland.
