Thursday The first rases in a long list of impending prosecutions throughout the Dominion for failure to comply with the reduced lighting on vehicles regulation were heard in the Petone Court before Mr. A. M. (Moulding. S.M., who said that if small fines were not effective they would he increased. He imposed some fines of £2. In two cases the fine was only 10s, as the adjustment regulations lia'i heen complied with, hut the defendants had been using full beam in a restricted area.
