Housewives' Association. —An address on the forthcoming Dominion Reconstruction Conference was (riven by Mrs. H. Dyson at the monthly meeting of tho association in the Farmers' board room yesterday alternoon. Mrs. K. R. Hartleet presided. . Royal Society of St. George.—Moving pictures'of London and of the Knglisli countryside were shown by tlio Rev. \\ . Bower Black at the monthly meeting of the women s section of the society this week. Mrs. 1 . .Hoatii Freest presided, and items were Riven by Miss Amos and Mrs. P. Owen. Mrs. H. MeCartv plaved the accompaniments. New Women's Club.—A missionary nurse on furlough. Miss K. Hall, gave 1111 account of her work and experiences in China at the last meeting of the club. Mrs. J. P. Dowdcn, vice-president, presided. Auckland Women's Luncheon Club—Mr. Matthew Cowley was the speaker at the last luncheon meeting of the club. The president, Miss Freda Brookes, presided.
