Marist.—Manukau had an easy victory over Marist in one of its best displays this season. It would have taken a very formidable team to have taken the honours from the Maori side. Manukau is now level for the championship and a repetition of Saturday's form will-make it a itard team to beat. J. Hemi was responsible for 2*l points. Both liis tries were fine efforts and he missed only two kicks at goal in 13 attempts. Both Murray, at five-eighths, and Butler, on the wing, showed brilliant form, Chase was good on the wing and his tries were spectacular. Gregory, centre, and Major, halfback, the latest additions to the team, were outstanding. To Tai, Shilton and Eirinui were the pick of the forwards. Smith was easily the best of the Marist backs.
