TEMPORARY SUSPENSION
RUGBY CLUB'S COACH

The temporary suspension of the coach of the Linwood senior Rugby team (who is also club captain), was announced at the conclusion of an inquiry hold by the management committee of the Canterbury Rugby Union to-night into the playing of an unreinstated League player in the club's senior team on two successive Saturdays. The union exonerated tlio club from responsibility and decided to refer the matter to the New Zealand Rugby Union. The player has since been reinstated by the Now Zealand union.
