Colonel Macky Mild Lieutenant Penny went toward Wis-u in Greece in an endeavour to Inate an enemy machine-gun post v i.t-ii was holding up the transport c.iltimn. From that moment, said Colonel .Macky, he had been unable to glean anything as to what had happened to him. "Perhaps if vou know how I valued him .vou would be helped," Colonel Macky wrote. '/He was, as you know, ,my transport officer, and his work was always exemplary. Also as a companion his brother officers were very fond of him."
