HAMILTON SCHOOLS
The necessity for a new intermediate school at Hamilton was urged by Air. I''. A. Snell at the Auckland Education Board meeting yesterday, when on his suggestion it was decided to make representations to the department.. The Hamilton East school was making application for increased accommodation, and under the present policy there was an economic waste in adding rooms to existing schools, said Mr. Snell. When the intermediate school was provided as part of the scheme agreed upon for Hamilton,-there would be a surplus <\f rooms.
